IEI in Brief
IEI is a non-governmental, private American based association founded in 2001 to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organizations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services, provide internationally accepted standards and certifications, offer Industrial Consultation to interested industries and organizations, finance or support the financing process of international projects, evaluate and validate the academic articles and achievements and etc.
IEI is a non-profit-distributing private association, limited by guarantee. IEI filed its articles of organization pursuant to the Limited Liability Company Law on 22/02/2001in State of New York Department of State (DOS), Division of Corporations and State Records.
Through its Accredited Bodies in 39 European and Asian countries, IEI has been able to cover its fundamental contributions which are trade capacity building, standard setting and compliance, developing cooperation opportunities between Asian and European industries and realizing growth with quality.
Accreditation by IEI demonstrates the competence, impartiality and performance capability of accredited bodies and all Accredited Bodies are eligible to offer IEI services in their respective countries.
